Greg Dwyer Bio
GREG'S BIO
Greg Dwyer has lived and worked in more than 12 countries around the world before coming to Cairns. After 24 years in the Entertainment Industry as Actor, Director, Technician, Designer and Artist for Film, Televison, Stage and Radio.
He is currently working in a totally different area of employment all together - and really enjoys the change by presenting the Monday Morning 7am to 9am "Daybreak Again" two hour show.
The show is a journey from all periods and all countries and usually runs a little like this.
News and weather followed by - Opener, Rat Pack Set, Jazz/Swing set, Country set and an Instrumental to the top of the first hour.
The second starts with news and weather, then - a blues set, Popular music set, World music set and finally a Cajun set before the news again. And then it’s all over for another week.
A wide range from many periods and styles and usually about three songs to a set, so you will always be hearing something different. Bit like Greg really.
His hobbies include photography (really interested in getting into Kapping- Kite aerial photography) computers, music and books. Has been described as a book-aholic, “Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read” .Groucho Marx (1890 - 1977)).
However, Greg has now been in Cairns for four years, longer than he seems to have been anywhere else and doesn’t look like leaving at this stage. So join him on Monday Morning 7am – 9am for a world of difference.

There's nothing like being
There's nothing like being able to effectively communicate your ideas to your audience and having them participate in healthy discussions (over those ideas). Keep it up Greg.
Great to hear you are well
I've only been doing this for just over a year and it is the one thing that keeps me sane each week. I really enjoy the couple of hours I do. Nothing to do with the home life and nothing to do with my job. A good stress breaker.
Hope your journalism course went well. take care always. You are often in my thoughts.

Hi Greg - great to see
Hi Greg - great to see you're in radio. By an odd coincidence I'm also a part-time independent radio producer (in Ireland). Hope all is well with you and congrats on yet another excellent string to an already bushy bow!
