Irigh music sessions in Cairns
Seven years ago I was in Cairns and there was a session at a pub on the quay. A chap by the name of O'Mara ran it . I know that because he asked for a copy of some of my songs. I was born in Dublin and although I have been here since I was a child I was back last year and did some gigs there. I do my own material ( Currentlyrecording my sixth CD} and although I now only do my own stuff and have a voice that is somewhat suspect as Finbar Furey told me 'When you do your own material who are they comparing it to. ". I don't know if you have heard of Martin Doherty up there but I am doing a gig with him this afternoon. Are there any sessions (unpaid} in Cairns as I will be visiting my daughter mid June?
