PRESIDENT’S REPORT

On the eve of our AGM, I should like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the great job being performed by our many presenters, and their commitment, both to the excellence of their programs, and to the station. Too often we are quick to, and prone to criticise, and slow to praise. And I do hope my few words will assist to overcome any discrepancy in this way, that might be perceived by the readers of this newsletter, and members of this station.

Back on Board

After vacating the position as President just over 18 months ago, the Management Committee members recently asked me to come back and join them on the committee as a board member. After thinking about it for almost a month, and discussing it with several of the committee members during that time, I have accepted to fill the vacant board member position.
I feel honoured to have been asked, and I look forward to working with the Management Committee members, and all the other many volunteer station members, to continue to maintain and build a better community radio station for all to enjoy.

WEB UPDATES UNDERWAY

Greg Dwyer's picture

Just to let you know..... have collected all of the current profile forms so will be getting the web bios and info updated ASAP. Though with work and all, that may be more like ASAPr (as Soon as Pr-obable) So those who have yet to supply a photo get in touch with me and I think if I can make myself available at a location we can arrange for people to come along there and I can take a nice shot. Thinking of the hills and water in the background, though with photoshop... if you wanted to be flying above the Grand Canyon or over the Taj Mahal....anything is possible.
